Turkish Language

Turkish is a suffix-based language which is pronounced as it is written. There are many words coming from French or English because Turkish was influenced by leading Turkish writers who learned French Culture and Literature very well.

The Turkish alphabet was first introduced in 1928 by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk who is the founder of Turkish Republic. It is taken from Latin Alphabet with some minor changes. There are 29 letters in the alphabet.
